350Vancouver is independent group associated with the 350.org global mass movement tackling Climate Change. We are a grassroots-driven community run entirely by volunteers. We create climate-focused campaigns, projects and actions led from the bottom up by people in the Vancouver region. Our organization includes a diverse group of people of all ages and backgrounds who are passionate about the need for meaningful action in line with what climate science tells us needs to be done.

350Vancouver was founded in February of 2015 in the wake of protests on Burnaby Mountain related to the Kinder Morgan Pipeline expansion project. Since then we have organized and been involved in countless actions to raise awareness of and oppose the expansion of new fossil fuel infrastructure, support alternatives as well as front line land and water defenders. We advocate for divestment from fossil fuels and investment in a hopeful and positive vision of a future that includes 100% renewable energy – a future in which people live in harmony with the environment in a truly just and democratic society free from colonial and other forms of oppression.
350Vancouver is focused on local issues but also supports larger campaigns; we understand that people must stand together to create the big changes we want. We work together with indigenous peoples, front line activists, environmental groups, faith organizations, youth groups, labour organizations and others who share the common desire to urgently address the Climate Crisis and its root causes.
350Vancouver organizes on the unceded and traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
